FOTD: Red on Eyes

I often admired bloggers who wore red eyeshadow on eyes. I tried to do a makeup with red eyeshadow few times before, but never succeeded. It always looked like someone would punch me in the face. But not this time. This time I made a look I love from the bottom of my heart. And because I'm proud on it, you know I have to share it with you, too. :)

I primed my eye with NYX HD primer, which I really love. Because white base always makes bright eyeshadow looking more intense I used NYX Milk jumbo pencil all over the lid and blended it out. In inner corner of my eye I first applied neon orange shade from Sleek Acidpalette. Then I used red shade Bloody Mary from Sleek Curacao palette in the middle of eyelid and in outer V raspberry shade from Acid palette. Espresso Martini, a matte black shade from Curacao palette, is one of the best pigmented and blackest black eyeshadows in my collection. I used it in crease and blended it out toward brow bone. For more clean and straight line in outer V I placed tape on my skin before applying makeup and before I went on lower lash line I removed it. Under my eyes I used Espresso Martini as well. In inner part of my eye I draw line more down and in outer part I pulled it far outside, parallel with black eyeshadow on upper lid. The space between orange and black eyeshadow in inner corner I filled up with Martini from Curacao palette, which I also used for highlighting my brow bone. The place between black eyeshadow in outer corner of the eye I filled up with NYX Milk pencil. On waterline I applied Essence Big Bright Eyes highlighter pen. This look of course required eyeliner and false lashes. For eyeliner I used Essence Liquid Ink Matt eyeliner, because most of the look is matte, and false lashes are from Born Pretty Store. 

On cheeks I wanted only a bit of gentle colour, so I used my favourite peachy blush Catrice Mandy-rine. On lips I used a combination of Essence lipliner (A Girl's Dream) and Bourjois lipstick (Nude-ist), which is one of my favourites, because it lasts for hours on my lips.
