Review: Laino Pure Argan Oil

I was always so afraid of using oils on my face, because I didn't know how my skin would react and I was afraid that it would break out, but when I first tried Nuxe dry oil I knew my fears were unnecessary. Recently I received Laino Argain Oil, which can be used for skin, body or hair care. Laino is a French brand that offers products made of natural ingredients, and their products are without parabens, phenoyxethanol and artificial colourings. The brand that’s on the market for 30 years is available in Slovenia as well.

Laino Pure Argan oil is made out of 100 % natural ingredient– argan oil that is rich in omega-6, omega-9, vitamin E and polyphenols. It’s a product that nourishes, protects and brightens the face, body and hair. It’s hypoallergenic and appropriate for all skin types. It also helps combat signs of ageing and skin slackening.

It sounds like an amazing product and for me it is an amazing product. A lot of bloggers and other cosmetics enthusiast praise oils in skin care routine and although I sometimes used Nuxe dry oil, I haven’t used any oil regular until I got this one. I was a bit afraid at the beginning that it’ll break out my skin, but my fear was unnecessary. Okay, during the summer I have few pimples on my skin, but they appear because of the heat, so no blame goes to this oil. I can’t say how it would work on other skin types, but on my normal skin it works amazing. I drop one to two pumps on my fingertips and then spread it all over the face. Since this is pure oil it doesn’t sink into the skin that fast, so I usually apply it at least a half an hour before sleep, so that it sinks properly and it doesn’t end up on my sheets. In the morning I wake up with beautifully smooth and soft skin that looks healthy and nourished. I don’t use it daily; I use it when I want to pamper my skin, mostly after I remove a heavy makeup that I wear during the day.

I haven’t said anything about the packaging yet. Oil comes in a brown plastic bottle with a pump. The packaging seems very sturdy, the lid is also plastic and it didn’t break (yet), and the pump enables an easy dosage. The bottle is transparent, so you can see how much product is still in (I love that). The pump is matte black and when I pump the oil out of it, it becomes all shiny and dirty, but I guess I can’t expect that it’ll look like new after so many usages. The bottle contains 50 ml of oil, but I use a small amount of product at once. I use it for more than a month now and I used around one fifth of the product, so it last me for a long time and I can’t wait to try it in the winter and see how it’ll work for me then.

You can get Laino products on Mediforma and in some pharmacies, and for this oil you’re going to pay 21,50 €. It’s not the cheapest product, but since it uses up very slowly I think it’s worth the money, at least for me. It’s indispensable part of my skin care routine. I can’t say how it would work on other skin types (especially on mixed or oily skin), but for me it works amazing. As a beauty blogger I’m always eager to try new products and in the future it can happen that I’ll try any other face oil that’s very recommended (AlpStories, I’m looking at you), but I would definitely repurchased this one if I’d ran out.

Do you use face oil in your skin care routine? Which one is your favourite? Thank you for reading!
